Description

William Hoath was born in Westerham, Kent on 13 Dec 1892 and enlisted with the 4th Royal West Kent Regiment on 13 May 1909. Hoath was discharged from sevice on 10 Jan 1917 after being declared 'no longer physically fit for further war service', due to sickness. His total service in the Territorial Force was 7 years 243 days, including 2 years and 159 days embodied service and service in India of 1 year 320 days.
