Description

Christopher Wesley Dickens was born in Notting Hill in 1886, the son of William and Ellen Dickens of Grange Cotages, Hardwick, Welingborough, Northants and lived at St. Neots, Bedford. Entering France 15 Aug 1914 with the 4th (Queen's Own) Hussars, Dickens Died of Wounds and the effects of gas poisoning on 3 May 1915, aged 28 years. Dickens is buried at Bailleul Communal Cemetery Extension, Nord and remembered on the Roxton Memorial.
