Description

Norman Eric Anyon was born in Chorlton, Manchester and attested with the Manchester Regiment on 5 Sep 1914, posted to France with the 18th (Service) Battalion (3rd City) Manchester Regiment on 8 Nov 1915 and suffering a Gun Shot Wound to the left arm.

Anyon tried to join the 23rd Works Battalion, Liverpool Regiment, but failed the Medical Board and was discharged due to his wounds on 29 Aug 1917.
